The Resolution
A standing charge laid on every kandra at birth: that, if the First Generation should ever order it, they must each pull their Blessing spikes from their bodies and revert to mistwraiths — the kandra equivalent of mass suicide. The Father gave the charge to the Firsts himself when he made them, told them they would know when the moment came, and presented it almost as an afterthought to the First Contract. MB1:HoA:Ch 75
