The Synod
The governing council of the Keepers of Terris. With the Lord Ruler gone, the Synod has ruled that the Keepers' duty is no longer to investigate the lost history of the world but to disperse what they have already saved — knowledge of farming, sanitation, government and medicine — to the skaa who never had it.
