Getruda
A Set assassin trained for the express purpose of killing Wayne — younger, stronger, faster, and better with the dueling canes than he is. A Slider reinforced with Feruchemical healing, she fights with canes, glass knives, and an exaggerated *Roughs* accent her dialect coach evidently sold her on, which Wayne hears as inner-city enclave layered with upper-crust theatre. She has studied him for years and considers him *Freewheeling Wayne, always ready with a joke.* In the storm drain under Bilming she nearly takes him; Wax takes off half her head with a hazekiller round when Wayne drops his speed bubble. A stout woman in a bowler hat carrying a dueling cane, working for the Set. A Slider like Wayne but spiked further: she has also been given Feruchemical gold healing. She walks calmly into one of Wayne's speed bubbles — a thing no-one has ever done to him — and tells him cheerfully that she was *built for* him and made to kill him. The Sequence later addresses her by name. MB2:TLM:Ch 23 superseded at MB2:TLM:Ch 49

After a long dueling-cane dance she could not finish, Wax used a Pushed doorstop and metal-shard salvo to drain her Bloodmaker healing, then put a hazekiller round from Vindication into her right shoulder. The secondary detonation ripped her arm off — and the metalmind in it — and the wound did not heal. He finished her with a coin-Pushed bullet to the head. - MB2:TLM:Ch 23 Walks into Wayne's speed bubble carrying a dueling cane, leaps for Marasi, is intercepted by Wayne, and breaks into a blur of cane-fight with him across the warehouse floor.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 24 Trades dueling-cane blows with Wayne across speed bubbles, dropping her phony accent to gloat that she was made to kill him, until Wayne grapples her into a wrestling choke and the Sequence arrives to call her off by name.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 49 Lays into Wayne with dueling canes and a glass knife while keeping up a relentless impersonation of his accent; admits, in passing, to having lifted Dumad's metal vials without asking. Wax takes most of her skull off with a hazekiller round when Wayne drops the speed bubble.
