Telden
A noble heir of Elend Venture's circle. Reads the books Elend gives him — slowly — and dismisses talk of class reform but agrees the nobility ought at least to present a unified front against the Lord Ruler. MB1:TFE:Ch 23
Events
- MB1:TFE:Ch 23 Pushes back when Elend tries to bring Vin in to the circle; allows that Elend's book is good even if its talk of class is silly, and that a unified noble front against the Lord Ruler is overdue.
- MB1:TFE:Ch 28 Counsels Elend to enjoy women without letting them too close — the house war is no time to be distracted by a lowborn courtship.
- MB1:HoA:Ch 32 Finds Elend in the Orielle ballroom — an old Luthadel friend rebuilt as a Fadrex householder under Yomen — and presses him on whether he is becoming what he overthrew.
- MB1:HoA:Ch 50 Walks into the cache in a fine black suit and gentleman's hat, lantern raised, two folding chairs and two bottles of wine in tow. Disarms Vin with charm reminiscent of the carefree Elend of Luthadel society, tells her plainly that one bottle is drugged and that his job is to talk her into drinking from it, then calmly waits while she does.
