Aradan Yomen
An obligator Mistborn who, in the chaos following the Lord Ruler's fall, took Fadrex from Cett and now rules it as king. His public claim to have no Mistborn of his own — and to have won his crown by fairness rather than Allomancy — is a lie; he is one himself, and burns atium enough to wear the single bead on his forehead as ornament. The real attack uses trebuchets concealed in the caves of a cliff plateau overlooking Elend's koloss paddock; the koloss are unable to climb to their tormentors and, with Vin drawn off and Elend briefly cut off from their bond, half kill the other half before Elend reasserts control. Elend flared electrum to mask himself from atium sight; Yomen hesitated and lost the line. He is burning atium, unsparingly, in a hand-to-hand fight. - traps-vin-in-the-cacheYomen anticipated Vin's route into the Canton cache and trapped her with it. He had pried the cache door's iron mounts apart by brute force — not Allomancy — and removed the door's iron plates so that no Mistborn could Steel-push or -pull it back open. The door reads as plain stone, the floor slopes away from it denying leverage, and the hinges have been jammed or weighted from the outside. Vin walks straight through the opening, the door slides shut, and Yomen has won the city without risking the battlefield.
