Allrianne Cett
also known as Lady Cett
A round-cheeked young Western noblewoman of perhaps eighteen, daughter to Lord Cett and trained for court from childhood. She flees her father's siege camp on her own to seek out Breeze — whom she calls Breezy — in Luthadel and presents herself in the Keep Venture atrium begging King Venture for asylum. MB1:WoA:Ch 21
Known facts
- flees-cetts-camp-for-luthadelLeaves her father's siege camp on her own and turns up at Keep Venture demanding asylum from King Venture. She tells the king she had to follow Breeze after her father drove him off, refuses to spend another day surrounded by leering soldiers, and volunteers small intelligence about her father's supply line through Haverfrex as proof she is worth keeping. The king grants her sanctuary "for a time," knowing it will enrage Cett.MB1:WoA:Ch 21
- is-rioterVin eavesdrops on a booth in the palace kitchens and catches Allrianne Rioting Breeze's desire for her — confirming the girl is a Misting, a Rioter of zinc, and has been working on him since she arrived with her father's retreat into the city. Whether she might be more than a Misting is something Vin is unwilling to assume away.MB1:WoA:Ch 36
- persuades-cett-to-return-for-breezes-sakeAllrianne talks her father Cett out of returning home to fight rebellions in the Western Dominance and back toward Luthadel — ostensibly to play the eventual victor for clemency, privately as the only chance she can buy Breeze of being saved when the city falls.MB1:WoA:Ch 50
- forces-cett-to-defend-luthadelAllrianne settles the battle at Luthadel by kicking her horse alone toward the fighting and yelling back that if her father wants to protect her he will have to charge. Cett — needing a pretext to back the winning side — orders his column forward, and his fresh forces fall in alongside Vin's koloss against Straff's line.MB1:WoA:Ch 55
Events
- MB1:WoA:Ch 21 Light-red silk dress and shawl, hair bouncing as she throws her arms around Breeze in the atrium, then curtsies prettily to the king and begs asylum, lists complaints about her father's war camp, and is finally led off by Cadon.
- MB1:WoA:Ch 23 Appears in the kitchen doorway in a simple noblewoman's gown — fully dressed but with her hair deliberately mussed to suggest she has only just come down — and asks why she was not invited to the party. Breeze sends her back to her rooms.
- MB1:WoA:Ch 25 Chats brightly through the carriage ride and the fitting, quizzes Vin about being an Allomancer, breezes a backhand "if people knew how ordinary you were" line at her, picks a yellow-and-blue gown, and follows Vin out to the crowd of skaa on the street as if they have been friends for years.
- MB1:WoA:Ch 25 Grabs Vin's arm and follows her into the street as if they have been friends since childhood, waves nervously at the crowd, and quietly asks whether Vin can fight them off if things turn.
- MB1:WoA:Ch 36 Arrives at the booth in a blue dress with a bow in her hair, slides onto the bench beside Breeze, and quietly Riots his desire for her — visible to Vin one booth over but not to him.
- MB1:WoA:Ch 49 Sweeps in in a riding skirt over Vin's open dislike, insists on joining the party because Breezy has ordered her out of the city; rides with surprising horsemanship and peels off west toward her father's army once the interception is behind them.
- MB1:WoA:Ch 53 Watches the city burn beside her father, urgently pleading him to help and Rioting his emotions; he shrugs her off and tells her plainly they will submit to Straff once it is done. She accuses him of having become no good man at all.
- MB1:WoA:Ch 55 Rides up the hill immaculate even in a war camp, argues with her father to help, and when he refuses kicks her horse down the slope toward the battle — pausing to call back that if he wants to protect her he will have to charge.
