TwinSoul
also known as Sanvith Prasanva Maahik va Sila
An elderly man at the Ghostbloods safehouse, a deep tan, long powder-white mustaches and a short beard — formal Bilming suit, courtly manners, unsteady on his feet but unbowed by age. A line of pinkish-red crystal runs along the outsides of his fingers and wrists, rises from his collar to his temples, and obeys him: it grows out into spectacles, a fountain-pen nib, a cup, a chair, a pointer stick, even a city-scale model of Bilming. He calls the crystal Silajana and the substance an aether — an ancient entity older than Scadrial — and accepts orders only from his master Kelsier, addressing Marasi throughout as *my lady*. Known facts
- roseite-limits-on-scadrialTwinSoul explains his hard limits to Marasi: Silajana's roseite only persists under specific fields of Investiture, and his world is not one of the planets that supplies them naturally. Outside the Knightbridge safehouse, any creation he forms must stay in physical contact with him or it crumbles to mist. Each creation is fuelled by water drawn from his own body — hence the backpack tank. His personal craftsmanship is also limited: he can make simple tools, but not anything as intricate as a gun.MB2:TLM:Ch 42
- full-name-and-titlesWhen the Set soldiers open fire in the tunnel, TwinSoul declares himself by his full name and rank for the first time: *Sanvith Prasanva Maahik va Sila, Grand Aetherbound of the twelve kingdoms, Raj of the Coriander Court.* The invocation makes clear he is not merely an aetherbound advisor in service to Kelsier but a reigning monarch on his homeworld, with a sworn duty to defend innocents grounded in Silajana and the Twelve Primal Aethers.MB2:TLM:Ch 51
- reigning-monarchTwinSoul's public title is *Raj of the Coriander Court* — one of the twelve kingdoms of his homeworld, where he reigns as a *Grand Aetherbound.* His service to Kelsier in the Basin is the off-world errand of a sovereign, not a retainer.MB2:TLM:Ch 51
- real-name-prasanvaInside the Elendel Ghostblood base after Marasi has left, the kandra TwinSoul is addressed by his original name: Prasanva. The southern alias is the one Marasi and the Basin have come to know him by; the Silverlight cell knows him as the man he was first.MB2:TLM:Epilogue
Events
- MB2:TLM:Ch 39 Receives Marasi with courtly hospitality, grows tools and a city-sized map of Bilming out of his aether, and lays out the three candidate entry points to the cavern.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 40 Bows in to Kelsier over the sphere, later returns downstairs in a loose uniform with a yellow sash, ornate curved sword, and a backpack of water for his aether — ready to follow Marasi into the strike.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 42 Shrouded in a local fisherman's raincloak on the elevated train to the tire factory; lays out his aether limits on Scadrial for Marasi and offers his read of Silajana as one of the primal aethers.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 44 Steadies himself against the factory's back wall and lets Silajana sense a quiet, empty room beyond — picking the stretch of wall with no shelves on the inside for Moonlight's door-stamp.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 45 Sends a crystal thread under the loading-dock doors to map the elevator car; steps out onto a ledge over the open shaft and grows a roseite ladder rung by rung as he climbs down ahead of the others toward the caverns.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 47 Drops in last from the elevator roof, lets Silajana scout through the open elevator door, and twice screens the team with darker-than-usual roseite shells against patrols. Offers his own homeland's inhospitality to his kind as one reason he joined Kelsier.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 50 Caught in the slowness bubble Marasi throws into the room from the doorway, stumbles into the lab shack late, and explains afterward to Marasi that an invasion by Autonomy's *very specialised troops* may be as catastrophic as the bomb.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 51 Kneels in the tunnel, grows a chest-high roseite barricade, then encases himself in a twelve-foot crystal behemoth and declares his full name and titles before charging the Set soldiers to clear an exit for the freed captives.
- MB2:TLM:Epilogue Enters steadying himself on the doorhandle, accepts the offer of mentorship he would have given Marasi, and shakes her hand as she goes; promises she may join him on the Moonlight recovery anyway.
